A Gospel Message

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

(John 3:16 KJV)

Jesus Christ is the Son of God:

“He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?

And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.

And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.”

(Matthew 16:15-17)

He is the second person in the Trinity and is God manifest in the flesh:

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

The same was in the beginning with God.

All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.”

(John 1:1-5)

The Word became flesh and walked among us:

“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”

(John 1:14)

He died on the cross to reconcile man back to God:

“And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.”

(Colossians 1:20)

Sin is the breaking of God’s law:

“Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.”

(1 John 3:4)

We have all sinned:

“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”

(Romans 3:23)

Christ came to take away our sin:

“And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.”

(1 John 3:5)

Hell is real & Jesus warned sinners that if they would not repent that they would perish:

“I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.”

(Luke 13:3)

God commands us to repent (turn from sin and turn to God through Christ):

“And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:

Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.”

(Acts 17:30-31)

Jesus is the only way to heaven:

“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”

(Acts 4:12)

“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

(John 14:6)

“Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

(John 3:3)

Being born again is what happens to you when you repent (turn from your sin) and are converted.

We are to confess Jesus as Lord and believe that God has resurrected Him:

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”

(Romans 10:9)

We have redemption though His blood:

“In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins.”

(Colossians 1:14)

We are to take up our cross and live for Christ every day:

“Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.”

(Matthew 16:24)

It is important to become a Christian. The Bible says, “now is the day of salvation” (2 Corinthians 6:2). You must repent, turn to the Lord and be born again of His Spirit. He will wash, cleanse and make you brand new. He will forgive all your sins and give you a new start. Most of all, He will save your soul so you get to go to heaven and don’t have to go to a lost eternity in the lake of fire.

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

(2 Corinthians 5:17)

“Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.”

(Isaiah 45:22)
