Oh Ireland, to you I call,
Trust the Saviour or you will fall.
Will you tread the paths of sin?
Won’t you let the Saviour in?
The price He paid, the blood that flowed,
It was all for you, that you may know,
The eternal bliss of your eternal soul,
And be saved from the fires below.
Sin separates and causes distance;
The only answer is sin resistance,
And turn to Him like you know you should,
And serve Him daily and choose the good.
There are those who love and pray,
With burdened hearts, for you each day.
On bended knee, tears do flow;
They want you to, the Saviour know.
With the darkness you do dance,
Yet He gives you another chance.
He stands and knocks at the door of your heart,
And offers you a brand-new start.
St. Patrick walked these emerald shores,
But today he’s gone and is no more.
The Saviour he served still calls to you,
To walk the paths that Patrick knew.
He promises to wash away your sin,
Oh, won’t you let the Saviour in?
To the Son open up your gates;
Let Him in before it’s too late.
Behold He stands at Ireland’s door,
To thoroughly purge His threshing floor.
When He returns will He let you in,
Or will He find you full of sin?
He is a God to be feared;
His chances run out if not adhered,
And His patience can wear thin;
He’s not a God that winks at sin.
He’s coming soon on a white horse,
Regarding your sin, express remorse,
And get ready for the King of Kings;
Turn to Him, and tightly cling.
Repent and turn from the evil tide,
Or with His judgments, He will chide.
His perfect will is to save your soul;
To rescue you, the intended goal.
He wants to save you today,
That you should know no other way,
Except the Saviour from all sin;
Let Christ the King of Glory in.
Get ready, oh land of Éire,
He that comes with whited hair,
In power and glory will be revealed;
Will you be hurt or will you be healed?
For all nations, tribes, and tongues,
Was the loving Saviour hung,
Upon the cross where He bled and died,
To deliver us from the Devil’s side.
A Saviour and a Judge indeed,
From heaven’s throne, does He plead.
He wants to save but has to judge;
He calls you out of the sinful sludge.
In that day when the nations assemble,
And all the workers of iniquity tremble,
Will Ireland arise with light and shine,
Or be condemned with similar kind?
